18 weeks

Baby's now the size of a sweet potato!
Baby's become amazingly mobile (compared to you, at least), passing the hours yawning, hiccupping, rolling, twisting, kicking, punching, sucking, and swallowing. And baby is finally big enough that you'll soon be able to feel his/her movements.

Here are this weeks stats:
How far along: 18 weeks
Total weight gain: 5 lbs.
Maternity clothes: yes...maternity pants are way comfortable
Sleep: sleeping good so far...
Best moment this week: having dinner with the bowers and talking about baby bowers!
Movement: not yet...i don't think
Food cravings: pizza and oranges (not together)
Labor signs: nope
Belly button: flat
Wedding rings: Still on

i stole this 'stats' thing from my friend, cristin

16 week

so, i'm 16 weeks today and apparently baby aj is the size of an avocado! behold, my first belly picture...i apologize, i just woke up from a nap :)

we went to the doctor on friday and got to hear the heartbeat again, and it was wonderful! the first appointment we were able to hear the heartbeat it was 169, which made me think girl, but this time it was 154, which makes me think boy...so at this point i can legitimately stop over-analyzing it and just be surprised. oh, and for those of you who don't know, aaron and i are decided not to find out what we're having! apparently there is no better surprise your whole life, than when the doctor hands you your baby and says, 'congratulations, here is your baby ____!'

slacker

so i've been a slacker since our big, "we're pregnant" post...my apologies. i know everyone is just sitting on the edges of their seats waiting for me to post something, so i thought i would share these with you until i get big enough ca-hunas to put a belly picture on here...

this first set is from 6w 3d

this set is from 8w 5d

my next ultrasound won't be until 20 or so weeks

my due date is july 4, but at the dates that i got these ultrasounds they put me about 4-5 days earlier than my due date, so hopefully baby woolsey (AJ as my mom calls it - its either amy, jr. or aaron, jr.) will make its arrival sometime in june!
